POSTPARTUM DOULA SUPPORT
Nurturing Support Through the Fourth Trimester and Beyond
The weeks after birth are a time of immense change. As you recover from birth and settle into life with your baby, you deserve the same care, guidance and support that carried you through pregnancy.
Whether you're navigating the first few days, the fourth trimester, or the months beyond, you don't have to do it alone.
Motherhood brings physical recovery, emotional change, feeding challenges, shifting relationships, and a new rhythm of life. My role is to provide calm, evidence-informed guidance and practical, nurturing support so you can feel cared for, confident, and held throughout your transition into motherhood.
At Untangled Mama, postpartum support is offered through personalised in-home care for Ballarat families, with flexible support options designed to meet you where you are in your recovery.
In-Home Postpartum Support (Ballarat Area)
For local families, I offer compassionate, hands-on care in your own home. Each visit is 3 hours and tailored to what you need most: practical recovery support, gentle body care, breastfeeding support, emotional holding, light food prep and tidy, and home organisation that eases daily life.

My Philosophy of Postpartum Care
Postpartum is not a return to who you were before. It is a season of transformation that touches every part of who you are — your body, your emotions, your relationships, and your sense of self.
My approach honours:
-
Physical recovery – core, pelvic floor, and scar healing
-
Hormonal rhythms – energy, mood, breastfeeding, and cycles
-
Emotional healing – birth story integration and mental wellbeing
-
Relational shifts – navigating changes with partners, family, and support systems
-
Identity and rebirth – rediscovering who you are becoming as a mother
-
Integration – weaving these changes into daily life, returning to movement, work, connection, and long-term wellbeing
I believe recovery is not linear, and it does not end at six weeks. Each stage deserves care — whether that’s a single visit, six weeks of nurturing, the full fourth trimester, or ongoing guidance into motherhood.
Next Steps
Every mother deserves to feel supported. Whether you’re planning ahead or already in your postpartum season, I’d love to walk with you.
